Adobe has finally released the portal for educators / students to register for a free version of ColdFusion.  The announcement that they would do this was made a while back (CFUnited).

I sell to and work with a LOT of schools and universities.  I really am excited about the possibilities.  Granted, the free version of CF isn't for production use, so my clients can't take advantage to run our software on it for anything other then testing.  However I think in a broader way this could really help encourage adoption and testing of CF.  Hopefully some curriculum will be created as well.  I would love to see our schools have a class on CF.

In fact, I may just ping a few local colleges on this.  I have always enjoyed teaching.
