CF.Objective So Far
The conference has gone well so far. It is my first time at cf.o and I wasn't sure what to expect. The attendance is great. I think higher then organizers had anticipated. The hotel is fantastic. The room is huge, the food is good and staff has been very helpful and friendly.
I haven't been to any sessions yet. As a sponsor I am at the booth most of the time. I do have plans to attend some though. Specifically the Intro to Model Glue (I hear good things), and sessions on Transfer and ColdSpring.
I hear the ColdBox session was great, friends of mine were blown away by everything the framework offers. In fact, feedback I have overheard has been very positive. People are learning, connecting and having a good time. Not bad for just the first half of the first day.
Downside? Wireless is weak. I switched to my air card, and am able to at least do email and basic browsing now. It is also pretty cold. Always bring long sleeve shirts if you are going to work at a booth. AC ducts are intentionally pointed to tables to make you as cold as possible. Or so I assume.
For those of you who can't make it or if you were too drunk to remember what happened last night, here are some photos people have been posting thus far.
