Inscription Money Making
I was able to log in to the updated patch at about 10pm last night. By 1pm I was at 300 inscription and posted all my glyphs. By 8am (7hrs later) I had + 1000g and 90 glyphs still on the AH. Not bad! However I had all the herbs I needed by picking them, if I had to buy them I can't imagine I would make much money as the prices are sky high.
Some tips for people getting into inscription:
- Bag space! You will need a lot. I found it best to just mill all herbs at once, then start learning.
- Learn your minor glyph asap. When you start out in inscription one of your first skills is to basically learn a new random minor glyph. These are worth big money right now as so few people know them. You can only do this once every 20 hrs. I think there were only 2 of us on my server that knew the warrior glyph. The mage glyph to polymorph into penguins was a money making machine for some.
- I found it best to only make 5 glyphs at a time then review my skill and what new skills were available to max my learning and use of herbs. That way I didn't flood market with same glyph and I was always learning something that guaranteed me a skill point.
- Try to pick your own flowers. The AH is VERY expensive at the moment. I spent a few hours a day for a few days picking all I needed to get to 300.
- I haven't had luck with vellum yet. I would think enchanters would be all over this but maybe they just don't know about it yet.
- I haven't had any luck selling cards or decks either. Again many don't know or are not able to turn in.
