Help Promote ColdFusion 8

ColdFusion bloggers already know that CF 8 has been released. Here are a few ways you can help spread the word to the non-CF community.

1) Digg It. Ray Camden has already submitted to Digg. So just +1 it.

2) Help promote in Slashdot. I just submited the story, though it is my first time doing so. Hopefully I did it right. Right now it is in Firehose, whatever that is. If you know how to get it on the main page, go for it.

3) Submit to other such sites.

4) Let non-CF focused bloggers know!

In the Australia/New Zealand region we're linking up all of the CFUG's on August 8th for a "follow the party" (using Connect to ...er ... connect) across three timezones, and possibly further. We're both cross-promoting with each local RIA community as well as inviting businesses (either directly involved or on the fringe) to come along to their local CFUG and join in.

this ties in well with the new RIA/web conference in New Zealand in late August: "Web on The Piste" (held during the ski season near some of the best skiing in the region)

oh, and just Digg'd (dug?) Ray's ... er ...Digg
