Peter Bell's Gravatar I'm guessing (and hoping and praying) that this was a bit of a setup. I'm guessing that if someone had mentioned the main Strasse that the Berlin Wall divided or had pointed out that North Korea isn't another name for Australia, they'd have cut the footage.

The really interesting thing to know would be how many interviews it took to get those responses. I'm hoping it took an awful lot, but given some of my experiences, I'm not too hopeful.

Joshua's Gravatar Yes, true enough. Actually, that would be a funny video as well. How many people started to recite the nations of the world?
I know my wife can do most of it, which is kind of intimidating really.

Jonathan Brazil's Gravatar I always wonder when I see clips like this if there is a set-up in progress. Much like you I really hope so - I find it very hard to believe that people wouldn't know how many sides there were on a triangle.

AxelKreuzberg's Gravatar Its from the 'Chaser's War on Everything' - an Australian TV comedy show, one of the best I've ever seen. They've got much more of that, I mean not just about Americans but on the general stupidity of humans. Google or youtube 'Chaser's' you will not regret.

Daniel Flanaghan's Gravatar Most of the questions were vague; also some of the people answering questions were not shown being asked. They could have been asked a different question. Also some of the questions were not clearly given a time frame, (the man who answered Germany was clearly thinking of WWII) thus the person gave the correct answer about the wrong time period. In addition some of the questions require a decent education. Most of the people questioned clearly did not have one. Finally, some of the questioned were clearly joking in their answers, but the tape was cut before the laughed.

All in all it was very similar to the style of Michal Moore (The fat, ugly, and un-educated liberal), another words a cut and paste job.
