BlogCFC using Feedburner

I just updated my blog to use Feedburner. Let me know if you are experiencing any issues with my feeds, problems with the blog (beyond my spotty posts), etc.

Feedburner is a way of tracking who is viewing my feeds. Not specifically WHO, but more in general how popular it is, what are popular posts, etc. Think of it as web stats for a blog.

It was pretty easy to update my blog. The real problem to start was that many were already using my feed, and the feedburner system requires them to use a new feed. I followed their recommendation about renaming my original feed (so that feedburner could find it but nobody else). I then put in a redirect into my original feed so anyone using it would be redirected to http://feeds.feedburner.com/UsefulConcept which is my new RSS feed address.

Works pretty well so far.

I use Feedburner and I output a XML feed for anyone else that wants to use a different feed, works well the only problem I have and just havn't had time to address is outputting HTML in my XML feed maybe next weekend I'll get to it.

Interesting. Why would someone want a different feed? Is there something feedburner would do that some may not prefer?

I use the RSS feed from the site for Google Site mapping and Feedburner uses it for its feed it's just there if anyone wants it, never really thought of it though.
