Flex Camp Boston - who's with me?

Looks like I am heading to Flex Camp Boston.  Who else is going?  I have dangerously low experience with flex so I plan on brushing up in the next couple weeks. I am interested in the CF related topics especially.  Networking is always good as well.

At $10 it is a real bargain!  Though time is runing out.  December 7, 2007, at Bentley College in Waltham.

I'm planning on making it. I'm trying to land myself a spot on that "Ask the Expert" panel. ;)

Wait a minute!
Isn't Boston even further North than New York city?
And isn't December 7th in the winter?

yes and yes!

Yes, Boston is further north than NYC, however the first day of Winter is December 22nd:

Big Snow Storm usually hit hard the first quarter of the year, not the last quarter.

Plus the weather has been incredibly warm lately. One wouldn't think I could walk around without a coat of any kind, but in the middle of they I often can. And I am further north of Boston. :-)

This has me thinking of CFunited. Do we really go outside all that often (other than the smokers). No. Its often too hot, and really nothing around to do. The hotel is nice but the location has nothing to offer than that. Boston would be great the same time of year as it is less hot and plenty to do walking distance. That said, people would still be hanging out inside networking, learning, etc.

OK, so this reminds me of an inspiration I had from cfUnited, 2007.
The reason I go there is to meet with you guys - to network.
So I was surprised when there were people there without business cards.
I guess a lot of people just go because their employer pays for them to go.
So what if Teratech printed business cards for all the attendees?

You can print a box for what? $10.00? And in bulk for much less.

But wait!
What if they were like Topps trading cards?
If there were a Hal Helms trading card, would you make a point of 'collecting' it?
And if it's good for the luminaries of our profession, why not the average person? Wouldn't it be a big ego boost to have a campy "Star Trek" playing card with your image on it? What would your stats be?

And it's not limited to cfUnited either. Any trade show has the same problem. People meeting each other and wanting to exchange email addresses.
It would be great if you could put a face with a name.

hhahhaa, thats funny. You should send em a note on it. Which reminds me, I really need to get the business cards that have hero on one side and villain on the other. Just would be so handy.

@Phillip Senn

That's a cool idea! Tom and I will have to look into this for 360|Flex

OK - great!
The reason I remember this inspiration is because I have a friend that runs a high-end printshop here in Hickory, NC.
