sys-con declares coldfusion dead (again)
Ugh, I started it back up... i know... Its like it didn't work the first time so they are trying again.
So some of you may have noted my comment on old/new newsletters from syscon about CF. Well I see from my google blog alerts that James Hamilton picked up on that and wrote a quick piece on java.sys-con.com agreeing with me that "I do agree with Joshua though, ColdFusion looks like dead as a door nail...".
Um, when did I say that? No seriously. When?
Ok even more seriously. I know I started it back up again, but enough of the sys-con stuff for me. No more links I promise. James, I have no problem with you, but really. Don't associate me with your own thoughts like that. We all know it isn't remotely accurate. Just taints your integrity. Write your own opinions as your own. Even if my comments on syscon spam and 1 month delayed emails got published on syscon. At least the emails were not as delayed as the print publication had been.
Just a couple notes:
Since CFDJ has been renamed Silverlight Developer's Journal, you should probably not have links to CFDJ from your other sites and may as well shut down the cfdj site. Wait, CFDJ isn't dead, just the print part. You are still in fact putting new content and pushing new blog content onto your cfdj site. Sean, Tim and Rob did you know your blog is still being pushed as CFDJ content?
I am in the aggregation of blogs that macromedia has (now adobe) but I am not a macromedia blog.
How dead is CF that you picked up my blog entry within hours?
I could go on but whats the point. We should all go back to doing what we do best and just ignore each other.

Comments (moderation on)
James Hamilton does not exist outside Sys-Con. He is a nom de plume. It's probably Fuat venting his spleen as he is wont to do (Google for the whole BEA / Sys-Con fracas over WebLogic Developers Journal to see just how Fuat reacts to people who challenge him).
