I have been working on a little side project lately.  I found www.dmoz.org and learned that you can download the open directory project database.  There are well over 70 million web site listings.  So I downloaded all the data, worked with it for a while and finally got it into MySQL DB.  Well, about 4 million listings or so.  I still need to upload the rest.

The result is a yahoo like directory system right on my little own web site.
