spam stock abounds

As of 1:30pm I have received 42 spam stock emails today.  42 in one day.  The bulk for EGLY.  The email I got was sent to all various email addresses I have, not just one.  It is out of control.

The five day chart for them shows a big drop from 2.6 to 2.00 on Tuesday morning, and it is crawling back up today currently at 2.48.  Just about the same time the emails came out.  Hmm.  According to the email, by next month it should be at $5.00.  check out my spam stock tracker site to keep track and see just how well its doing.

Just stumbled across spamstocktracker, and was looking at your cumulative results. I noticed that most stocks recently added are showing increased prices, and the ones "bought" earlier as losses. Obviously, spammed stocks aren't going to be buy-and-hold propositions. But just maybe money can be made by getting in and out within a short (under 30 days) period. What would results be if you'd done that for the pre-12/2005 group? Can market timing be indicated by changes in frequency of spams received?

Good question. I found that in the past many stocks didn't bump up at all. I am very curious about the new performance and plan on doing some research into the stocks. It is hard to find historical price information on many of these spam stocks. If someone has a good source to find historical data send me a note.

Isn't there a legitimate money making opportunity here? As these tips are almost sure to go down, usually drastically, why not short-sell?
